The StudyUSA Fair is an annual event that was first launched in 1999, sponsored by AMIDEAST. Each year we receive a large number of representatives from various American universities based in the U.S. and abroad. The Fair, which lasts throughout the day, includes EducationUSA advising sessions, networking opportunities, visa sessions, and much more.
The Competitive College Club (CCC) is a group of highly-competitive high school students aspiring to attend top universities in the United States. These qualified students are in the top of their classes and have outstanding achievements in the community. They receive comprehensive group advising in preparation for applying to U.S. institutions. The CCC program is run throughout the Middle East, and is offered in Egypt by AMIDEAST in both Cairo and Alexandria.
The Opportunity Funds from the U.S. Department of State provide assistance to academically talented students with demonstrated financial need. OF will cover the costs associated with the U.S. university admissions process, which can include application charges, test registration fees, and even travel expenses to the United States. These competitive funds are administered through both the Cairo and Alexandria AMIDEAST offices.
EducationUSA is a global network of advising centers supported by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State. There are over 400 advising centers worldwide, including 27 in the Middle East.
Our offices provide accurate and unbiased information to international students regarding undergraduate or graduate study options in the United States, including valuable details about scholarship and financial aid opportunities.
EducationUSA advisors conduct regular outreach and offer free advising sessions at local high schools, universities, bookstores, libraries, U.S. Embassy events, American Corners, and many other venues to share information about educational opportunities available in the United States.
The AMIDEAST Exchanges and Scholarship Unit administers various scholarship and exchange programs for talented Egyptians with the purpose of expanding their knowledge and broadening their prospectives through education or training in the United States. These opportunities have made a great impact on the development of the Egyptian community. These programs are designed and tailored according to the Egyptian labor market so that the participants are well integrated within the community and able to develop their own career paths upon their return. Such opportunities target individual from various backgrounds and socio-economic statuses, but particular attention is given to empowering those who are marginalized.
The Skills for Success is a comprehensive training program designed to provide recent college graduates and entry-level professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to be successful in the global business environment. The Skills for Success program contributes significantly to an individual’s successful job placement and effective participation in today’s global workforce

AMIDEAST’s Professional Skills training programs provide candidates with the skills they need to succeed in today’s global marketplace. Our programs are designed to develop competency in a wide range of basic business skills and advanced management techniques.

All AMIDEAST Professional Skills workshops are conducted in a highly interactive format, incorporating learner-centered activities such as pair and group work, task-based activities, and problem solving activities. AMIDEAST approch allows for the participant to be active in the learning process thus directly enhancing the learning experience and yielding optimum results.
SAT®The SAT tests the skills you’re learning in school: reading, writing and math. Your strength in these subjects is important for success in college and throughout your life.
The reading section includes reading passages and sentence completions.
The writing section includes a short essay and multiple-choice questions on identifying errors and improving grammar and usage.
The math section includes questions on arithmetic operations, algebra, geometry, statistics and probability.
