The Skills-4-Success Program is a comprehensive training program designed to provide recent college female graduates and entry-level professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to be successful in the global business environment. The Skills-4-Success Program will contribute significantly to an individual’s successful job placement and effective participation in today’s global workforce.
This program is designed to enhance participants' capabilities in four different areas:

AMIDEAST had been named the exclusive Country Master Distributor (CMD) for the TOEIC® (Test of English for International Communications) family of tests and the TOEFL® ITP (TOEFL Institutional Testing Program) in Egypt. This means that no other entity in Egypt can legally distribute or administer the exams mentioned above. Entities other than AMIDEAST who provide TOEFL score results in Egypt are not doing so with the TOEFL® ITP exam. No other paper based TOEFL® exam is legally recognized by ETS.
Soliya’s Connect Program is a unique cross-cultural education program that enables college students from the US, Europe, the Arab World, and the broader Muslim World to collaboratively explore the relationship between their regions with the aim of improving intercultural awareness and understanding. Student participants in this semester’s Connect Program will congregate into groups consisting of eight to ten students each.
This course is conducted partially online. Students will meet once a week for the on-line part (30 Hrs); Soliya will assign them to an online dialogue group, based on their availability. For the face-to-face component (18 Hrs), Students will meet biweekly with their instructor where they work on language skills and functions.
The course aims at bringing real life communication into the classroom. The face-to-face component gives students the skills, strategies, and confidence they need to communicate confidently in the online discussion specifically and outside the classroom generally.
The course builds learners’ ability to understand and use the natural English of International speakers by focusing on language pragmatics and functions. The on-line as well as the face-to-face component will help students to become more sensitive and effective communicators through universal topics and activities, and with special focus on intercultural competence as “fifth skill”.
