TOEFL iBT® Test-Preparation for Men

 AMIDEAST is pleased to provide a 40-hour TOEFL preparation course for men, beginning June 9, 2013.  The course will demonstrate the skills and strategies required to succeed on the test, and enable students to practice these within a structured program. The cost of the course is 2000 SAR, payable by bank transfer or cash. A 10% discount is available for any student who has a friend enrolled on the course.  Classes will be held from 7:00 – 9:30 p.m. according to the schedule below and taught by an experienced, native English instructor.

SLEP - Secondary Level English Proficiency Test

Secondary Level English Proficiency Test (SLEP) is an English proficiency test for nonnative speakers that assess two primary areas: listening and reading. SLEP is used by English language programs in secondary schools. The content of the test is based on materials designed for grades 7 to 12. The results of the test can be very helpful in evaluating English as a second language teaching (ESL)programs and making placement decisions related to assignment to ESL classes, placement in a mainstream English-medium program, or assessment of progress during a course.
 
Public test date: Sundays at 10:30am (El-Bireh office only).

TOEIC® - Test of English for International Communication

AMIDEAST administers the two hour paper-based Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC®), an English language proficiency test for people whose native language is not English.

ITP-TOEFL

 

 The two hour long paper-based Institutional Testing Program (ITP) TOEFL evaluates English proficiency for an academic or professional setting. ITP TOEFL evaluates knowledge of English at the intermediate and advanced levels. ITP TOEFL is appropriate for the beginning and intermediate level and is generated from actual past international TOEFL examinations. The ITP TOEFL can also be used as entry and/or exit exam for undergraduate students majoring in English or other programs that may require a certain level of English proficiency.

GMAT - Graduate Management Admission Test

The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a standardized assessment designed to predict how applicants for MBA programs and other business-related graduate degrees will perform academically. The scores are used by schools to make admission decisions. The GMAT exam measures basic verbal, mathematical and analytical writing skills. It does NOT measure your knowledge of business or your job skills. Although AMIDEAST does not administer the test at its testing center, we are available to register candidates through our office in El-Bireh. The GMAT is now offered at the PearsonVue Testing Center at Bethlehem University.
