
The Skills for Success is a comprehensive training program designed to provide recent college graduates and entry-level professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to be successful in the global business environment. The Skills for Success program contributes significantly to an individual’s successful job placement and effective participation in today’s global workforce

AMIDEAST’s Professional Skills training programs provide candidates with the skills they need to succeed in today’s global marketplace. Our programs are designed to develop competency in a wide range of basic business skills and advanced management techniques.
Our trainers combine technological, expertise, business know-how, and proven methodologies.
All AMIDEAST Professional Skills workshops are conducted in a highly interactive format, incorporating learner-centered activities such as pair and group work, task-based activities, and problem solving activities. AMIDEAST approch allows for the participant to be active in the learning process thus directly enhancing the learning experience and yielding optimum results.
English teachers from the Saudi Electricity Company participated in three days of workshops led by AMIDEAST lead teacher, Scott Poteet. The workshops focused on how to implement communicative teaching methods, teach writing skills more effectively, and how to create activities for teaching English for special purposes. At the core of each workshop was that teachers had the opportunity to work in groups to create sample lessons that would have practical applications in their classrooms.

Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), LEED provides building owners and operators a concise framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.
For professionals participating in the design and construction phases of high-performance, healthful, durable, affordable, and environmentally sound commercial, institutional, and high-rise residential buildings, the LEED GA + AP Building Design + Construction (BD+C) exam is designed to measure your knowledge and skill in understanding the LEED Rating System and ability to facilitate the project certification process. These courses helps participants understand and prepare for the LEED GA and AP BD+C exams.
The Cisco Entrepreneur Institute is a global initiative by Cisco® and supports entrepreneurs worldwide by working with local governments and business organizations to foster the creation and success of small- and medium-sized businesses. The Institute provides practical business insights for entrepreneurs, facilitates knowledge sharing with local business leaders, and shows participants how to take advantage of technology to speed business growth.
The Institute offers state-of-the-art training, networking, and business resources, and was created to help entrepreneurs improve their skills and enhance business development opportunities. It also provides a forum for owners of small and medium-sized businesses to collaborate and share business expertise.
With workshop content developed by Cisco, Cornell University, Stanford University, and My Own Business, Inc. and tailored for Morocco by local business leaders, the Institute offers an innovative platform with unique resources for those who want to start or expand their businesses.

The Arab Women’s Entrepreneurship Project (AWEP) is a Citi Foundation-funded initiative, implemented by AMIDEAST in Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, and the UAE. In each country 20 women will compete to be selected to participate in the program and receive:

The AWEP application is a two-step process, the first step of which is this written application. Based on the information provided here, semi-finalists will be chosen for follow-up interviews, after which final selections will be made. Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate strong interest in establishing a new business or expanding a recently started business, and be willing and able to commit to full participation in the initial training as well as ongoing involvement with the AMIDEAST-Citi team.
