  • Explaining U.S. accreditation procedures
  • Introducing Lebanese academic institutions to appropriate U.S. accrediting bodies

He heads his own consulting firm, Four Quadrants, LLC., focused on: business analysis and advisory services; mergers and acquisitions; global expansion; and strategy and organization development.  Marcel is the former President and COO of Maxcess International, the Oklahoma-based parent company to three of the web-handling industry leading names, Fife, Tidland, and MAGPOWR.

Carole is a co-founder and managing partner of Cre8mania, an interactive agency specialized in building online communication strategies, designing, and developing new media materials and planning and executing online marketing campaigns. Since its inception in 2002, Cre8mania’s portfolio includes some of the regions largest corporations, nonprofit organizations, and leading brands.
 
Carole is a certified Cisco Entrepreneur Institute facilitator after successfully completing the Institute Program Manager and Facilitator training in July 2009.  She holds a Master degree in Private Law from La Sagesse University as well as an executive-level MBA from Emory University in Atlanta.
 
Carole is a Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) alumna, having participated in the Business and Legal Fellowship Program.  She is a former board member of the Association of Lebanese Software Industry (ALSI), a former Steering Committee member of the MEPI Alumni Association, a member of the Lebanese League for Women in Business (LLWB), Women in IT (WIT), and the Maronite League.

In Cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and the Lebanese Union of Mutual Funds

This activity will introduce legal reform to existing laws and regulations in addition to building the financial and management capacities of Mutual Funds. The activity will start with reviewing current laws and regulations pertaining to MFs.  After revision, amendments to existing laws or drafts for new ones will be presented to the Parliament followed by lobbying for their passage.  Training material will be developed and training will be conducted for MF managerial and financial staff who will commit to good governance procedures. A national conference and a website will serve as platforms to bring together the different stakeholders and make further information about Mutual Funds available to the public at large.
