The GRE preparation course is designed to help students do their best on the GRE and to improve their chances of gaining admission to graduate school. By examining each area of the GRE in depth, students will know what to expect and be able to expect and set goals for improving their performance level. By the end of the course, students will be given a full practice test that simulates the GRE real exam. The GRE course is a 42-hour course divided into verbal and quantitative sections of 21 hours each. The purpose of the TOEFL iBT preparation course is to improve the participants’ language ability and develop their skills in answering TOEFL iBT questions. Instruction is targeted to teach the class how to answer varied listening questions, speed-read comprehension texts, guess the meaning of vocabulary items from context, analyze grammatical structures and answer TOEFL iBT questions in the allocated time. This course pays special attention to the speaking section through an evaluation of the participants according to the speaking rubric that is approved by ETS.
