GRE Course Completed

AMIDEAST KSA held a GRE preparation course in February, 2012.  At the invitation of a medical research college in Riyadh, AMIDEAST taught a 5-week, 72-hour preparation course to 22 students for the revised GRE.  The course focused on teaching test-taking strategies and building students’ knowledge of academic vocabulary necessary for the GRE and for graduate studies in the United States and elsewhere.  The students, interested in earning master's and doctorate degrees in health informatics, radiology, pharmacology, and medical physics, completed a final practice exam in early March, commenting that  the course helped them improve their verbal, math and writing scores.

Students commented:

‘Solving exercises as a group was very beneficial in that it helped to learn several ways to solve a given problem.’

‘I am really grateful to Mr. Scott for his time and support in terms of teaching a heavy course like that.’

‘Thanks a lot for Scott for his steady hard work and enthusiasm.’

‘The best thing about the course was learning the Latin roots and predicting meanings of words.’
