Administrative Assistant (Saudi National)

 We have an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant for the Riyadh Field Office. This position reports directly to the AMIDEAST KSA Country Director.

POSITIONAL SUMMARY

The key responsibilities of this position is to provide administrative and office support activities for Field Office personnel. In addition, this person provides governmental support to maintain the various AMIDEAST licenses, certificates and memberships in Saudi Arabia. Duties include visiting government offices, fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, scheduling meetings, providing translations between Arabic and English, as well as researching potential office, classroom and testing sites.  Requires strong communications skills in both Arabic and English.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The tasks and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Dealing with SAGIA, the MOCI, the Chamber of Commerce, the Municipality, GOSI, DZIT and the Labor and Passport offices, on behalf of the AMIDEAST Branch in order to maintain their licenses, certificates and registrations, and to make required payments or submit and follow up on applications.
  • Provide translations from Arabic to English and English to Arabic as requested.
  • Follow deadlines on incoming and outgoing projects, phone calls, and meetings to insure that commitments are kept.
  • Collaborate with other AMIDEAST/KSA teams on new EL, test prep, professional skills, testing, and other business development opportunities requiring proposal preparation.
  • Assure discreet handling of all business matters.
  • Dress professionally and appropriately at all times.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in office administrative functions including communications, meeting scheduling and task prioritization.
  • Saudi national.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years’ experience.
  • Current resident of Saudi Arabia.
