Print Production Requirements:
Advertisements
must be camera-ready in one of the sizes listed. A 50 percent surcharge will apply for ads
that require resizing or final production.
Halftones should be 133-line
screen.
The word
"Advertisement" must appear at the bottom of the allotted space.
Negatives must be right
reading, emulsion side down.
Publication trim size is 8 1/2
x 11 inches.
Production Requirements, The Computer
Option:
Our preference is for
advertising material submitted on disk and we will provide a 10 percent discount for ads
submitted in such a format that are ready for immediate insertion into the AQ.
Materials must be
IBM-compatible, Macintosh files cannot be accepted at this time.
Some acceptable file formats
include Windows-compatible TIFF or EPS graphics, JPEG, GIF, Adobe PageMaker, Microsoft
Word, WordPerfect, etc.
Billing and Shipping:
Payments for advertising is due
within 30 days of invoice.
Advertisers who cancel after
the closing date must pay the full charge for space.
A 15 percent discount is
offered for advertisements placed by independent agencies (does not include in-house
agencies)
