The Catapult on JobWeb. This largely employment-oriented site operated by the National Association of Colleges and Employers includes a valuable section for students applying to graduate school. Links cover the application process, financial aid for graduate students, and transitions from college to graduate school as well as newsgroups to monitor. The Catapult also has an extensive section with links to Web resources for specific careers.

College Admissions Resources. Questions to ask in selecting a college, words to know, financial aid information (geared to U.S. students), advice on the essay, extensive links, and more.

Edupass. Specifically for international students considering U.S. study, this site discusses admissions, financing, English language study, visas, cultural differences, U.S. life, and more.

National Association for College Admissions Counseling. On-line "college fairs," including some specifically for international students.  Student newsletter on the transition to college.

Tips for Researching and Applying to Graduate School. Chris Parks, admissions specialist at the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee Graduate School, provides sensible advice about researching and applying to graduate schools, with information on resources and links to other pages. On a more personal note, he offers a link to a hammer and mountain dulcimer page.
