In November, alumni gathered to celebrate thanksgiving
with all the fixings-from turkey to cranberries and pumpkin pie-at
the American University of Kuwait, Salmiya. Alumni shared the meal
and their memories of their year abroad with other scholarship students
and local officials. The American Embassy Cultural Affairs Officer,
Ali Lejlic, AMIDEAST Educational Adviser, Lorey Cross, and AMIDEAST
ACCESS Coordinator, Darwin Cotton, addressed the students. After
the meal, the students toured the new American University Campus.
