enjoyed the verbal exercises we conducted. An example of an activity that I was involved in was serving as the camp's shopkeeper. In my shop the children could buy things by utilizing their English language vocabulary. All items in the shop were free but they had to use the correct vocabulary words in order to purchase items. Keeping the shop going was a real challenge. Sometimes I had a hundred children shouting all around me, because everyone wanted to communicate with me at the same time in order to buy an item. It wasn't easy, but it was a wonderful experience and I enjoyed my role as a facilitator enormously."
