Several alumni were instrumental in helping with the 2007-2008 YES selection process. Hanen Keskes`06, and Salma Baghdadi`06, participated in the selection in Tunis, while Khaled Menyaoui`05, and Amira Amari `06 assisted with the selection in Sousse. Alumni also served as resources during an orientation meeting held from March 23-24 to review the placement process as well as the program rules and conditions for this year's grantees. The group included: Azza Baazizi`06, Hanen Keskes`06, Salma Baghdadi`06, Amira Amari`06, Seifeddine Bokri `06, Miriam Labidi `06, Marwen Mishirgui`05, Sabrine Ghammour `06 and Naouress Radhouani `06.

The YES Alumni Newsletter for the Near East and Pakistan is produced by AMIDEAST. The YES scholarship program is funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Cultural and Educational Affairs and administered by several organizations.
