English Language Training (ELT)
English Language Programs for Young Learners
Demand for AMIDEAST's specialized English language classes for learners between the ages of seven and seventeen is growing rapidly across the region. In our centers in Alexandria, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, Tunisia, and the West Bank/Gaza, AMIDEAST offers courses for young learners.
In each of the centers, the young learners programs emphasize English language acquisition to encourage our students to gain a greater understanding of the world and to develop increased confidence. They are designed to teach English through hands-on activities, role-play activities, games, and computer and project work, and focus on increasing students' ability to communicate in English in their everyday activities. Classes are small and are taught by qualified teachers of English.
English Access Microscholarship Program
As part of our programming for young learners in Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, West Bank/Gaza, and Yemen, AMIDEAST is pleased to administer the English Access Microscholarship Program, funded by the United States Department of State. This program offers English language training to youth between the ages of 14 and 18 with limited financial resources. The program consists of intensive English courses as well as American cultural activities that enhance students' language learning and American cultural exposure.
