Library Collections
The Educational
Information Center (EIC) at AMIDEAST/Amman
maintains an extensive collection of materials
on U.S. and regional educational opportunities
including books, software, college and university
catalogs, brochures on professional training
opportunities, audiovisual materials, and
more.
A few highlights of the EIC collection
include—
- Approximately 400 reference books on
U.S. education, testing, financial aid,
fields of study, and other subjects
- Current files on over 100 areas of study
and careers
- Information on English language and
professional short-term training in the
United States
- Over 1,000 print U.S. college and university
catalogs (in addition to a comprehensive online collection)
- Computers with on-line access and college
selection software

Sunday through Tuesday, 9:00- 5:00;
Wednesday, 9:00-6:00;
Thursday, 9:00- 2:00
