Advising Services in Jordan
AMIDEAST strives to provide accurate, comprehensive, current, and unbiased information on educational opportunities in the United States. Our office is part of the EducationUSA network of approximately 450 advising centers worldwide affiliated with the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
The Educational Information Center (EIC) at AMIDEAST/Amman in Jordan maintains an extensive collection of materials on U.S. and regional educational opportunities available for public use. Additionally, the EIC provides numerous educational and career information services, including free introductory public information sessions on various aspects of U.S. education, individual consultations on U.S. study, and application support services.
Career support is also available for U.S. graduates returning to Jordan. Support for institutions is offered in such areas as testing, training, recruitment of students or employees, and development of American-model educational programs.
AMIDEAST serves as a preferred vendor of the Educational Testing Service in Jordan. Our testing services can help with information and registration for many standardized examinations required by U.S. schools as well as with many professional certification and other examinations.
