The Educational Information Center (EIC) at AMIDEAST/Gaza maintains an extensive collection of materials on U.S. and regional educational opportunities including books, software, college and university catalogs, brochures on professional training opportunities, audiovisual materials, and more.

A few highlights of the EIC collection include—

• Approximately 500 reference books on U.S. education, testing, financial aid, fields of study, and other subjects
  
• Current files on over 100 areas of study and careers
  
• Information on English language and professional short-term training in the United States
  
• Over 2,000 print U.S. college and university catalogs (in addition to a comprehensive online collection)
  
• Nearly 600 files on U.S. colleges and universities
  
• Computers with on-line access and college selection software
  
• Thousands of pamphlets on short-term training, English language training, career planning, fields and programs of study, and other areas
