AMIDEAST strives to provide accurate, comprehensive, current, and unbiased information on educational opportunities in the United States. Our office is part of the EducationUSA network of approximately 450 advising centers worldwide affiliated with the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. All AMIDEAST advising centers adhere to EducationUSA ethical standards.

The EducationUSA Resource Center at AMIDEAST in Cairo offers a variety of free group advising sessions every month. These free sessions provide information about:

• Options for higher education in the United States, tips on selecting universities, and information about financial aid
• Specialized presentations for fields such as medicine, dentistry, business, law, pharmacy, and engineering
• Application support for online applications and workshops on writing personal statement essays

AMIDEAST’s EducationUSA Resource Center maintains an extensive collection of materials on U.S. and regional educational opportunities available for public use. Additionally, the EducationUSA Resource Center provides numerous educational and career information services, including free introductory public information sessions on various aspects of U.S. education, individual consultations on U.S. study, and application support services.

AMIDEAST is the national preferred vendor of the Educational Testing Service™ in Egypt. Our testing services can help with information and registration for many standardized examinations required by U.S. schools as well as with many professional certification and other examinations.
