For over 40 years, AMIDEAST has been proudly associated with the Fulbright Foreign Student Program, one of several programs committed to preparing leaders capable of meeting the challenges of the future.

Fulbright Foreign Student Program

The Fulbright Foreign Student Program selects participants based on their leadership potential. Through their programs of study and research at U.S. institutions of higher learning, Fulbright Scholars gain knowledge and skills, global expertise, and the confidence they will require to solve problems, guide their communities, and take leadership positions in cross-cultural settings. International Fellowship Program (IFP)

The Ford Foundation’s International Fellowship Program (IFP) empowers exceptional individuals to take a greater stake in their futures and engage actively in their communities. By reaching out to individuals from socioeconomic groups and communities that lack systematic access to higher education, IFP is contributing to the development of a new brand of young leaders.

Onsi Sawiris Scholarship Program 

Launched in 2000, the Onsi Sawiris Scholarship Program has made it possible for over 50 extraordinary Egyptian men and women to pursue undergraduate and graduate degrees at prestigious colleges and universities in the United States in fields that will enhance the economic prosperity of Egypt. Legislative Fellows Program

The 2013-2015 Legislative Fellows Program (LFP-NA) brings emerging leaders from Egypt, Libya and Tunisia to the United States for an intensive one month fellowships designed to broaden their professional expertise. [ + ]
