English Language for Oman Sail Staff

English is the international language of sailing, and the team at Oman Sail spent their Ramadan practicing their language skills in an intensive program at AMIDEAST. Oman Sail is dedicated to rekindling the nation’s maritime heritage by teaching young Omanis how to sail and by raising the profile of Oman internationally by taking part in world-class competitions. Trainers, trainees and racing team members and accomplished sailors spent three weeks of Ramadan with AMIDEAST’s American English language instructors improving their speaking and listening skills in crucial topics like weather conditions, health and safety and other areas important to sailors.
