

AMIDEAST/Oman provides accurate, comprehensive, current and unbiased information on educational opportunities in the United States. The Muscat office is part of the EducationUSA network of approximately 450 advising centers worldwide affiliated with the U.S. Department of State. AMIDEAST/Oman follows EducationUSA ethical standards.
The AMIDEAST office maintains an extensive collection of materials on U.S.- accredited educational opportunities for public use, and provides guidance on U.S. study options. Support is also available for U.S. graduates returning to Oman.
AMIDEAST's EducationUSA Advising Sessions are free and open to the general public. Sessions are typically held weekly covering a variety of topics. Currently, there is no need to RSVP your attendance, just come in on the day and time specified for the session of interest. Please arrive a little early as sessions start promptly at the time specified below. All sessions are held at AMIDEAST offices (see address below) unless otherwise specified. AMIDEAST’s EducationUSA adviser is also available to provide one-on-one guidance as students conduct research on U.S. study options and complete the application process. Attendance at a general admissions session is required prior to making an individual appointment.

If you are a student in high school (9th - 11th grade; 13/14 - 17 years old), have an excellent academic record and are interested in going to college/university in the United States, then the CCC is here to help!
The CCC is an after-school club that helps students to develop themselves to become competitive applicants for U.S. university admissions. The CCC focuses on test preparation for SATs and TOEFL; critical reading, thinking and discussion skills, community service activities, and assisting students with preparing their application packets for admission.

This year's pre-departure orientation, What You Should Know: Studying in the USA, held July 13th, was attended by a group of young and ambitious students embarking on a life-changing experience as they depart Oman for the U.S. in August 2011 to begin studies.
