What is the TOEIC?

The Test of English for International Communication, or TOEIC, is an English language proficiency test designed for international workplace environments. It is taken by more people than any other English language test and is recognized as a worldwide standard for English proficiency. The TOEIC test is used by more than 4,000 organizations worldwide, and over 2 million professionals and language students take the test every year.

The TOEIC test assesses English proficiency in reading and listening from beginning to professional levels. It measures the type of English that is found in the workplace but it does not require specialized knowledge or vocabulary. Its reliable results and continuous scale allow for comparison of test-takers and careful monitoring of their progress.

For all TOEIC testing at AMIDEAST, rapid scoring and reporting services are provided. Institutions can expect to receive score results within one week after a TOEIC administration. Handsome, color-coded certificates can also be provided to test-takers as a record of their accomplishment.

The TOEIC test, designed by the Educational Testing Service and published by the Chauncey Group International, is administered by AMIDEAST throughout the Middle East and North Africa.

AMIDEAST is authorized by the Educational Testing Service to administer TOEFL ITP and Pre-TOEFL tests to individuals or to groups. For all ITP testing at AMIDEAST, rapid scoring and reporting services are provided. Test administrators can expect to receive score results within one week after an ITP administration.
