The U.S. Department of State’s Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) and AMIDEAST are pleased to announce this year’s recruitment for the Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship Program. The Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship Program is a MEPI initiative for capable and highly motivated high school seniors in the Middle East and North Africa who are from underserved backgrounds. The program will provide four-year university scholarships and internship opportunities at select institutions of higher learning in the Middle East to students who have the potential to become leaders.

This fast-paced, results-oriented seminar is uniquely designed to strengthen leadership communication skills. Participants will learn how to connect to efforts of their teams to the organizations' critical objectives, tap the full potential of each individual on the team, clarify purposes, inspire trust, and unleash the talent and capability of their teams to achieve the organizations' highest priorities. In addition, this workshop offers in-depth knowledge and practice in Emotional Intelligence (IE) skills. Participants will learn how to apply EI to gain success in motivating their team members to do their work. Participants will learn how to improve their EI skills such as self-awareness, self-confidence, motivation, empathy, and relationship management.

Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), LEED provides building owners and operators a concise framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions. For professionals who support green building design, construction, and operations, the LEED Green Associate credential denotes basic knowledge of green building principles and practices and LEED. This course provides introductory information about green buildings and LEED and prepares participants to take the LEED Green Associate exam.
This course will be an introduction to the concepts of sustainable, high performance green buildings, as well as methods for designing, constucting and evaluating them. The course will provide key preparatory information about the needed tools and technical expertise for taking the LEED Green Associate exam.
As the Green Associate is the first of the three tiers in the Green Building Certification Institute's (GBCI's) professional credential ladder, both experienced and novice green building industry professionals are eligible to attend. This is a perfect class for those seeking to learn about and work on green building projects and more particularly those seeking to earn the LEED Green Associate credential.

The purpose of Risk Management is to identify potential problems before they occur so that risk-handling activities can be planned and invoked as needed across the life of the project to mitigate adverse impacts on achieving objectives. Attaining the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation has become a benchmark in many industries that employ project managers. For people who choose project management as a career this has become a professional certification they must achieve.
