Education Hero Award Gala Will Support Youth Programs in Lebanon
Our first annual AMIDEAST Award Gala will support the diverse educational and training services that have already touched the lives of more than 500,000 residents of Lebanon.

On October 14, 2017, AMIDEAST will join with the AMIDEAST/Lebanon Advisory Board to inaugurate its first annual Award Gala. We look forward to welcoming 700 guests to the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, as we honor the first AMIDEAST Education Hero Award recipient, a well-regarded individual whose contributions have advanced educational opportunities in Lebanon.

The gala will highlight Lebanese celebrities in media and music who share our passion for education. Ricardo Karam, the highly respected multimedia journalist, will host the program, and showcase performances will be provided by two internationally famous recording artists: the iconic, multiplatinum singer-songwriter Najwa Karam and the award-winning pianist and composer Guy Manoukian.

With the support of the Lebanese, Armenian, and Arab diaspora communities in America, this seminal event holds the promise of hope and memories. Visit the gala website to find out how you can attend as well as support this effort as a table sponsor, by advertising in our tribute book, and participating in the silent auction.

AMIDEAST offers diverse educational and training services that have already touched the lives of more than 500,000 residents of Lebanon. Proceeds raised from this event will fund AMIDEAST programs that serve youth in Lebanon, including scholarships for study in the United States and training that advances entrepreneurship and the teaching of English.
