Engineering Pathways to Employment Program

 ·         The University of Michigan Dearborn’s “Engineering Pathways to Employment” Program provides fellowship opportunities to MENA professionals who work with young people in their career development.

·         Two, four-week fellowship sessions will include 16 participants in each session, four from each of the four participating countries -- Algeria, Morocco, Egypt and Palestine.

·         The sessions will take place in Dearborn, Michigan and Washington, D.C. in April/May and October/November 2011.

·         The participants ideally work for Ministries of Higher Education, Labor or Industry, secondary schools and/or universities or the private sector -- recommendations are welcome from Chambers of Commerce or other industry trade associations.

·         We will also consider entrepreneurs from these countries that provide employment services.

·         This program is conducted in English.

·         Applications are due by December 10, 2010.
