14th of July, 2010 -Under an agreement signed in Amman today, Arab Bank and American education organization AMIDEAST have launched an innovative partnership to benefit Arab Bank customers and the many individuals who access AMIDEAST’s extensive education and training programs. The agreement provides special discounts and benefits to Arab Bank cardholders for use in obtaining AMIDEAST products and services. These discounts apply to all kinds of Arab Bank cards, including Shabab, Visa Electron, and across the bank’s extensive credit card product line — Silver, Gold, Black, Platinum, Royal Jordanian, Zain and Together.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Muntaser Dawwas, Global Head of Consumer Banking at Arab Bank, and AMIDEAST’s country director for Jordan, Nancy McDonald, along with other Arab Bank and AMIDEAST representatives.
Mr. Dawwas commented, “By signing this agreement, Arab Bank customers can benefit greatly from the educational and training services that AMIDEAST offers.” Moreover, he added, “At Arab Bank, we are committed to continually add value to the relationships we have with our customers; besides competitive financial products, we want to make sure our customers receive benefits in the other key areas of their lives, and this agreement can do just that.”
Speaking on behalf of her organization, Ms. McDonald noted, “AMIDEAST is pleased to embark on this partnership with Arab Bank. We see it as a “win-win” for all involved, most of all the many individuals who turn to us for training in English language and professional skills, as well as to advance their goals for study in the United States. Although we are signing this agreement in Amman, where AMIDEAST has maintained a presence for 50 years, we hope that its benefits will eventually extend beyond Jordan to other countries where AMIDEAST operates.”
