The Binational Fulbright Commission administers the half-century old, prestigious Fulbright program which seeks to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and Jordan by awarding grants and fellowships to Jordanian students, teachers and scholars to study, teach, lecture and conduct research in the United States and to American academics to engage in similar activities in Jordan. These grants are offered, Kingdom-wide, on a rigorously competitive basis with grants awarded to individuals selected on the basis of academic excellence and professional qualifications. These scholarships are offered to Jordanian graduate students for higher study and research abroad for either Masters or Ph.D. degree-seeking Candidates. AMIDEAST/Jordan works closely with the Fulbright Commission to facilitate the application and university selection process.

ANNOUNCES THE 2018– 2019 FULBRIGHT STUDENT, SCHOLAR and

PROFESSIONAL AWARDS COMPETITION

The Binational Fulbright Commission in Jordan is pleased to announce  the launching of the student, scholar and professional awards  competition for the 2018-2019 academic year in the United States for Jordanian nationals who are residing, working or studying in Jordan only, in the following award categories:

 

       ■ Fulbright Student Scholarships for Graduate Degrees
           (Masters Degrees Only)

       ■ Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistantships
           (Non-Degree)

       ■ Fulbright Visiting Scholar Post-Doctoral Awards for
           (Research or Lecturing)

       ■ Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowships for Professionals
          
(Non-Degree)

 

Individuals interested in applying for these prestigious awards must meet the basic minimum requirements applicable for the different Fulbright
Commission-sponsored programs.
