The Middle East Rule of Law Program (MEROL) offers qualified applicants the opportunity to study for Master’s degrees in the following fields at top-ranked universities in the U.S., Hungary, and the Middle East:

The Middle East Rule of Law (MEROL) program aims to assist in the creation of a critical mass of reform-minded professionals in the Middle East working in fields crucial to the development and sustainability of open societies.

If you are an alum of an AMIDEAST Education Abroad program in the Arab World, we would be happy to send your AMIDEAST grade report to institutions of higher education or to organizations for job applications. In message below, please include your name, semester and program studied on with AMIDEAST, and the addesses of where your grade report should be sent to. We try to fulfill all grade report requests within 5-10 business days.
Please provide your e-mail add in the appropriate section below. AMIDEAST will send you a confirmation once your grade reports have been sent.
The Legislative Fellows Program (LFP)
The Legislative Fellows Program (LFP) is sponsored by the United States Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and administered by Legacy International. This program is designed for people with strong leadership skills who are early- to mid-career professionals. It is for visionary individuals committed to making a lasting impact in the areas of public service and social development.
Eligible candidates must be:

A citizen and resident of Egypt, Libya, or Tunisia.

Between 25 and 35 years of age.

Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in one or more of the following area: policy development, legislation, service and/or volunteer work, civil society organizations, community activism, unions or labor law, government administration, elections, voter education, social innovation and activism.
Deadline: December 30th, 2012.

Note: Preference will be given to candidates who have NOT previously traveled to the U.S. on a government-sponsored exchange program.
Kirkwood Community College
Kirkwood Community College supports two years of vocational education for students interested in attending the institution. It is an initiative to support academically sound Egyptian high school students who lack the financial means to study in the U.S. To apply, please visit the following website: http://www.kirkwood.edu/. AMIDEAST advisors works closely with the selected student and alternates on the admission process. This includes help completing the application, visa assistance, and a pre-departure orientation.
MEPI Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship Program
The U.S. Department of State’s Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) and AMIDEAST are pleased to announce this year’s recruitment for the Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship Program. The Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship Program is a MEPI initiative for capable and highly motivated high school seniors in the Middle East and North Africa who are from underserved backgrounds. The program will provide four-year university scholarships and internship opportunities at select institutions of higher learning in the Middle East to students who have the potential to become leaders.
