IMMEDIATE NEED FOR FEMALE GRE/GMAT TEST-PREP ENGLISH TEACHER

We have an immediate opening for a suitably qualified and experienced teacher to teach English section of the GRE and/or GMAT.  This post reports directly to the Director of English Language Programs.

POSITION SUMMARY

 The key responsibilities of the GRE and/or GMAT Test-Prep teacher are to provide test-taking instruction and preparation assistance to females planning to study in graduate programs.  The teacher will follow and use standardized course materials designed to teach students how to prepare for tests required for entry to U.S. graduate programs.  She is required to keep accurate records of student progress and prepare students for the online GRE exam.
Instructors will have qualification directly relevant to the English portion of the GRE and/or GMAT test for which they are preparing students.  Instructors will also have had experience using educational technology in their work and have current or recent work experience as a teacher in Saudi Arabia.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelors or Masters Degree in English, Linguistics, TESOL, TEFL or similar.  A CELTA or similar EFL qualification is preferred.
• Experience teaching in an established college, university, institute, or government secondary school.
• Experience teaching GRE and/or GMAT test preparation courses preferred.
• Ability to develop and adapt classroom materials to meet students' needs.
• Experience using computers and technology in classroom activities.
  

Candidates must be living in Riyadh.  Classes are likely to be in the evening.

This position is compensated on an hours-worked basis, and includes a transportation allowance for each session taught.
