Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program is a scholarship program for Tunisian high-school age students to spend one academic year in the United States. The YES program is a merit-based competition open to students who would not traditionally have access to American Secondary education and who exhibit academic excellence, leadership potential, and a desire to enhance relations between the United States and their home countries.

The “Kennedy Lugar YES” program not only introduces the American culture to students from all over the Arab World but also allows them to be ambassadors of their own countries.

Deadline: The complete application dossier must be submitted no later than December 17th, 2012
Incomplete applications will NOT be considered.
How to apply?
Pre-selected students will sit for an English SLEP test and only students who get a score of 45 or more on the test will sit for the TOEFL Junior test (http://www.ets.org/toefl_junior).
Final selection will be based on the application, grades, essays, test and interviews conducted by a local review panel.
You can submit your application directly to AMIDEAST Centers (Sousse and Tunis) or through the Ministry of Education.
