Cisco Entrepreneur Institute at AMIDEAST/Lebanon

The Cisco Entrepreneur Institute is a global initiative by Cisco^® and supports entrepreneurs worldwide by working with local governments and business organizations to foster the creation and success of small- and medium-sized businesses. The Institute provides practical business insights for entrepreneurs, facilitates knowledge sharing with local business leaders, and shows participants how to take advantage of technology to speed business growth.

The Institute offers state-of-the-art training, networking, and business resources, and was created to help entrepreneurs improve their skills and enhance business development opportunities. It also provides a forum for owners of small and medium-sized businesses to collaborate and share business expertise.

With workshop content developed by Cisco, Cornell University, Stanford University, and My Own Business, Inc. and tailored for Lebanon by local business leaders, the Institute offers an innovative platform with unique resources for those who want to start or expand their businesses.

Institute workshops are delivered by successful Lebanese entrepreneurs and include multiple presentations by guest speakers and workshop advisors who are regional and local entrepreneurs or experts on specific workshop topics. Workshops range from 20-70 hours of skills training and are delivered in a blended learning approach consisting of in-class facilitated sessions and web-delivered materials.

In addition to the workshops, the Institute offers:

Networking opportunities with other entrepreneurs, subject-matter experts, investors, and funding organizations
Mentorship programs
Ongoing individual support
Monthly PowerSessions -- short-burst in-depth training sessions

Participants in each workshop will receive a Cisco Entrepreneur Institute certificate.
