Placement Test Schedule:

• General English, business English, and the GMAT/GRE course placement exams are held every day at 10am and 12pm during the registration period.

• The TOEFL course placement exam is help from Sunday-Thursday during the registration period at 11am and 1pm.

• Extra placement tests are offered on Tuesdays at 3:00 pm and on the first Wednesday at 5:00 pm.

• Oral interviews for conversation courses are held on Thursdays between 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

Our Instructors

AMIDEAST classes are taught by professionally-trained teachers of American English. The small classes, customized instruction, and comprehensive learning resources help students improve their English language skills quickly and effectively. AMIDEAST/Egypt’s English language instructors have master’s degrees or other certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and have at least 3 years of experience.  AMIDEAST teachers are knowledgeable and experienced professionals with native or near native proficiency in English. They are dedicated to helping course participants acquire high levels of language proficiency and competency. All AMIDEAST/Egypt’s teachers are familiar with using computer software and audio/video technologies to assist in listening comprehension, speaking skills, and grammar lessons. They also have extensive experience working with college graduates and adults.

Course Policies

• Placement tests are valid for three terms 
• Refund: 90 % during registration, 75 % after the first class, No refund after the second class
• Only two absences are allowed for all courses except Program Management
•  Late registration fee: 60 LE for registration during late registration period
• Class transfer: 60 LE for transfer after registration period and during first week of course dependent on availability

Course Placement

Placement tests are given during the registration periods. Participants should arrive at AMIDEAST half an hour before their desired placement test time. The placement test does not guarantee course placement. Admission to all courses is dependent on availability.
