Position Summary:


The Facility and Administration Assistant position performs overall administrative office support tasks for that to  ensure the effective and efficient implemention of Amideast office operations. This role is also responsible for ensuring compliance with the maintainance, cleaning, and safety standards as per US codes and regualations and in line with the requirements for maintaining a facility that is a heritage site. This position requires rotational work in the evening and during weekend to oversee administrative and facility requirement as may be needed.



    • Continually monitor the facility by checking all doors to ensure security, observing equipment for defects, observing participants in case of equipment misuse, inappropriate conduct, or regulation violations.
    • Ensuring that the facility is a flame free enviroment by conducting continuous checks covering the entire premise.
    • Recording and reporting of any accidents or any emergency situations.
    • Adhering to US  safety codes and regulations while following escalation process when needed.
    • Conducting continuous follow up on security measures and security staff during night shift.
    • Maintaining a daily report for all maintenances needed for the facility.
    • Support in the creation and update of facility manuals as per BOB regulations.
    • Guaranteeing the proper use and care of all facility equipment.
    • Overseeing the Janitors’ daily work to maintain a clean facility while conducting daily  audits.
    • Supporting all AMIDEAST events as deemed necessary.
    • Assisting the administration team with renovations, logistics, and procurements to meet AMIDEAST standards.
    • Maintaining the professional set up of class rooms on regular basis in order to meet AMIDEAST quality standards and image.
    • Handling the day-to-day administrative requests and tasks that might be delegated in order to help in improving and developing the department.

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of safety, security, civil defense laws, rules and regulations is preferred
  • Good command of spoken and written English  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office


Work Experience

A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a relative field


Work conditions:


  • Shift based including morning & evening.
  • Rotational day off basis.
