

The StudyUSA Fair is an annual event that was first launched in 1999, sponsored by AMIDEAST. Each year we receive a large number of representatives from various American universities based in the U.S. and abroad. The Fair, which lasts throughout the day, includes EducationUSA advising sessions, networking opportunities, visa sessions, and much more.

Representatives from over 20 U.S. universities will be providing information about their schools to undergraduate international students. Additionally, representatives from the U.S. Embassy in Cairo will be providing useful information about current exchange programs and the visa application process.
The StudyUSA Fair is for undergraduate students (Thannawaya Amma, IGCSE, American Diploma, etc.) wishing to obtain their bachelor’s degree from a U.S. university as well as for graduate students looking to advance their studies in the United. Students will have the opportunity to speak with admissions representatives from multiple universities. These representatives can provide information about various academic programs, financial aid, and admission requirements at their respective institutions. Furthermore, school counselors, parents and governmental officials are encouraged to attend the event and learn more and the U.S. higher education system and current opportunities for international students.
EducationUSA will hold a special session for high school students about U.S. State Department programs, such as Opportunity Grant (OG) & the EducationUSA Competitive College Club (CCC).
A General Admissions session will be provided to inform students about the U.S. educational system, accreditation, educational institutions, choosing the right program, application procedures, and required tests.

Representatives from the U.S. Embassy in Cairo will discuss the different types of student visas and the requirements for obtaining them. This will include specifics about the types of documents the Embassy is looking for, and what they use to determine visa eligibility.
