A variety of TOEIC test options exist to test different language skills and levels of learners. Any of these tests may be administered by employers or educational institutions to groups of their employees or students at times and locations of their choice.
Individuals may register for more limited public testing dates.
TOEIC Listening & Reading test. Assesses intermediate/advanced English listening and reading skills for the workplace.

TOEIC tests are fair, valid, and reliable measures of the practical English skills that your students will need as they enter the workforce. Developed by ETS through over 30 years of continuing research, TOEIC tests–

Score reports provide accurate, meaningful feedback about a test taker's strengths and weaknesses, along with a description of the English language strengths typical of test takers performing at various score levels. Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
· if you do not follow proper registration procedures
· cancel less than ten business days prior to the test date
· fail to present the required identification documents at the test center
· do not show up for your test on the scheduled date/time
If you cancel your registration at least ten business days prior to the test date, you will receive a refund equivalent to half of the original test fee.
No refund will be issued in the following cases:
You may change your test date and/or location up to six business days prior to your original test date. Each time you make such a change, you will be charged a $40 rescheduling fee to cover processing costs. Payment is required at the time that you make the change.
Please review the following important information to ensure that you will be admitted on the day of the test.
If you are not a U.S. citizen, you MUST PRESENT YOUR PASSPORT as your primary identification document.
U.S. citizens may present either a passport with photograph and signature; a driver's license with photograph and signature; government-issued ID with photograph and signature; or military ID with photograph and signature.
Your identification will be checked before you are admitted. The name given when you registered must match the name on the identification document(s) you present at the test center. You can check that your name matches by reviewing the registration confirmation form that you will receive immediately after registering. If you need to correct the name given in your registration, please do so as soon as possible and at least ten business days prior to testing.
If you arrive at the test center without the identification in the form required, the test center administrator will not admit you and you will forfeit your test fee.

For more than 30 years, the TOEIC test has been the gold standard for testing English language skills for the workplace. Today TOEIC test scores are used by over 10,000 employers in 120 countries, and more than 5 million TOEIC tests were administered last year.
Saturday, January 29 is the only 2011 date currently scheduled for TOEIC testing in Qatar. Cost is 310 QR, which may be paid in advance or when you arrive for the test.

The TOEIC® tests assess language skills that are used in daily life and the workplace. Test takers speak and write in English their responses to real-world questions and scenarios. The tests use common everyday vocabulary, phrases and key expressions used in business.
You do not need specific business knowledge to do well on the test.
