The Arab Women’s Entrepreneurship Project (AWEP) is a Citi Foundation-funded initiative, implemented by AMIDEAST in Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, and the UAE. In each country 20 women will compete to be selected to participate in the program and receive:
13 Days of training on business skills, conducted in Arabic, including topics such as:

Program Design
The focus of the two-year program is English language skills development. In addition to English language, the program will focus on Leadership skills and Public Speaking. Students will be encouraged to develop their spoken language, build confidence when speaking in public, develop skills and techniques to strengthen their leadership qualities and team building will be promoted throughout the program. In addition, scholarship recipients will participate in a range of monthly activities. These will include field trips to museums, sports activities, access to guest-speakers, etc.
