While practicing English skills is the best way to gain proficiency, now and then everyone needs a break. Beginning this year, ETS has been making it easier for non-native speakers to learn about TOEIC tests, whether they are employers seeking to use scores or potential test takers.

To date the ETS TOEIC®  test website at www.ets.org/toeic has been translated into French, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish. Over the coming year and beyond, additional languages will be added; further establishing TOEIC's position as the global leader in English-language assessment for the workplace. "ETS's TOEIC program is used in 120 countries and by more than 10,000 institutions worldwide," Mohammad Kousha, ETS Executive Director-Global said. "In order to continue to provide our test takers with exceptional service, it's important that we are able to communicate with them in their native languages."

Visitors can view the new pages by clicking on the "select a language" drop-down menu at the top of the right-promo area on www.ets.org/toeic and www.ets.org/toeic_bridge.

Those of us at AMIDEAST hope that Arabic will soon also be added to the ETS site. In the meantime, and into the future, we will continue to make personal guidance and information on TOEIC tests in those languages available to visitors to our offices throughout the Middle East and North Africa.
